Dave had an integral role in helping us close on our first home. He was with us every step of the way to answer any questions we had. His experience and expertise were of great benefit to us, allowing us to take advantage of Connecticut's Time to Own program and saving us thousands of dollars. David was fantastic. This was my first time buying a home. It took me a few years to finally find the right home/get an offer accepted and David was there every step of the way. As a first time buyer I found it overwhelming but David made things smooth and easy. I felt like he treated me as if I were his own daughter. I could not say enough good things about David and his level of professionalism but also ease and comfort to work with.

When you start a house buying process, you need a Great Team of Housing People. In dramatically changed times since the COVID shutdown and the yearly changes in housing, that can drive anyone crazy, you need strong people on your side. You need people who have the experience, even if current times have changed for them, to keep you up to date on where you are at to make dreams possible. David & his team, that include Elaine, have just been an absolute pleasure to work with. I had 3 different experiences before finding David and Elaine (from 2017, 2020, 2021) that were nothing like the Attentiveness and Knowledge sharing that I received from MSI Mortgage that David runs. David was amazing to work with! We are so thankful we dropped working with Bank of America to work with him. We were pushed by our real estate agent to reach out after we had a terrible first time home buying experience with Bank of America and we didn’t realize how much we needed personalized attention. On our first call with David we knew how knowledgeable he was about everything. He answered all of our questions and supported us through the entire home buying process. After months of no success on buying a home David explained to us some different ways to become more attractive to sellers and we were able to remove a clause in our offers. The first home we put an offer on with that clause removed we got the house! David and Elaine worked so fast to get us through the closing process and we were able to move our closing date up and closed in just 3 weeks!!! To put icing on the cake David came to congratulate us at our closing and even our attorney commented on how rare it was to have someone like David! We loved working with him and recommend him and his team 1,000 times over to anyone looking to buy a home! Just purchased a home and obtained my mortgage through MSI. I worked with Dave Swanson and I cannot praise his work enough. Dave is self described as having the heart of a teacher and that is a perfect description. When I first met with Dave, my credit score was in the 500's and I couldn't get a bank to loan me a breath mint. Dave sat with me and explained how to improve my credit and how to get myself to the place where I could buy. I followed what he said exactly and have just purchased the perfect house. Not only is Dave knowledgeable in his own field, but he has a wealth of connections in related fields too. As a first time home buyer, having to figure out getting a lawyer, inspector, agent it's all overwhelming but Dave has high quality contacts and will point you in the right direction. I really can't praise the job he's done enough.
